From April 26th to 29th, the 2024 National Fiberglass Industry Work Conference took place in Shangyou, Jiangxi. This event also included the 6th Council of the 5th China Fiberglass Industry Association. Over 300 representatives from key enterprises, government bodies, research institutes, and financial institutions attended. They gathered to focus on advancing the fiberglass industry.
Key Industry Leaders and Stakeholders Attend
Prominent figures, including Yuan Kelan and Hu Yuewu, were among the key attendees. Yuan Kelan is the honorary vice president of the Association and a former director at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Hu Yuewu serves as vice president of the Association and general manager of Mount Taishan Fiberglass Co., Ltd. These leaders, along with others from the fiberglass products industry, emphasized the importance of innovation. They stressed the need for expansion in new markets, particularly in safety protection fiberglass products.
Zhong Xiaobin, Deputy Secretary of the Shangyou County Committee and County Mayor, welcomed participants. He highlighted the significance of this conference for the fiberglass sector.

Additionally, it is vital for executing the industry’s “14th Five-Year Plan.” The theme of the conference was “Accelerating the Formation of New Quality Productivity, Opening up New Fields and Tracks for Development.” This theme reflects the focus on driving innovation and addressing market challenges.

The conference featured a theme conference, specialized seminars, and an innovative product application news release. Notably, the establishment of the Safety Protection Fiberglass Products Branch of the China Fiberglass Industry Association was a key highlight. This initiative underscores the industry’s commitment to safety and innovation.
